Room facilities are good: good beds with comfortable pillows, wonderful shower. Very friendly staff, great breakfast, the quiet location from the hotel. If we had special requests, the staff always responded to it.
The water in the sink and the toilet does not drain very well. , Windows cannot be opened if the curtains are closed.

really nice hotel in good location! the staff was super nice and the location was excellent. You could borrow bicycles directly in the hotel and in 20 minutes you were in the city centre and in 20 minutes at the beach.
it was partly a bit outdated and in need of renovation, but did not disturb any further.

Stylish atmosphere with fine views from the rooftop.
Noise from nearby traffic was disruptive at night.

This hotel is right across from the Arts and Science Centres. It is about a 10 min walk to the local metro (same line as airport) and about 20 min to the centre of town. We've stayed in quiet a few Barcelos and have grown to love them. Some can be very affordable and offer great, modern and clean rooms. The one in Valencia is no exception. We would definitely recommend it.
Windows don't open so the rooms can get a bit stuffy but there is air con.

Across the street from Cuidad de artes, which is great. 5euros taxi ride to the old town, well worth a visit. Taxis outside the hotel.
When checkingin they didnt ask if we wanted smoking or none, (4th floor is smoking) and we were given a smoking room. It wasnt a problem reception changed us straight away.

Top of the top was the view: the Art & Science Museum is impressive. Also the very modern design and the facilities. The lights in the room are very well thought. Very welcoming atmosphere in the room. Extremely clean and stylish decorated. We had a suite and I have to say that it was very well thought in terms of facilities; it had separat walking in generous space shower, bath tab and two separate toilets as well as a double sink.
The window was not closing well so we heard the traffic like we were on the street really. The toilett door is made of glas and doesn't have a proper handle or a closing system. So, apart of the fact that it is not really sound protected (which could be quite unpleasant feeling) the door could open by itself while you're using the toilett (was the case with the one of the toilett in our suite).

Air conditioning could be quieter and more effective.
